It's situated in the heart of the city that is in the Six mile area. It's one of the famous sweet shops in Guwahati. Their are various types of sweets🍧 available for example Rasmalai, Rosogolla, Gulab Jamun, Rabri, Kaju Katli and also a range of snacks are available like Samosa, Paav Bhaji, Kachori, Papri chaat, Dahi Vada etc. The quality is good but the price is high compared to the quality because of it's old reputation. Good place to have a bite but not that good for gifting as you can have better quality with the same price.
One of the best places in Guwahati if you are craving authentic chaats. I tried Raj Kachori on my last visit to the place.

•One of the finest restaurants in the city, Govindam is a sweet and savoury restaurant located in GS Road.
•It has been a hub of sophisticated indian sweet and savouries.
•Tried the Indian Raj Kachori chaat for Rs 120.
•It was delicious and had the perfect blend of spicy, sweet and tangy flavour that you would expect from a chaat.
•Most importantly, with all the sauces and chutneys, the puri maintained its integrity which, I would consider, is a win-win situation.
