The Morung... A restaurant goes with the name meaning "Community Feasting" is an Ethnic and Indian and Chinese cuisines restaurant which serves awesome food with good price... Their specific item is the "Seven Sisiter's Thali" which cost ₹399 and comprise with definite items from the entire northeast... Moreover they serves tasty North Indian dishes too... Their momos were too good...!!! scrumptious till the last bite... About their ambience- The ambience is cool and calm... with good staff anf service... Do try and give the review... You will definitely love it...!!!

I went to this place after seeing a food blogers post. Though the array of items served in the seven sister thali is huge but its just a basic local food taste wise . The pitikas and haax were awesome in taste but the daal and gravy items were just ok. Pork cury was totally bland and start item was the chicken gravy.

Heard about this new place called The Morung Restaurant in Rajghar so today on the occasion of Teacher's day took my folks there to try out. Gotta say was quite impressed by the quality and taste and that too in such reasonable prices..wow.. Would definitely recommend the restaurant to all.. An awesome place to chill with friends and have a good food. Do visit them...Main Speciality Seven Sister's Thali. I also tried their Honey Chilli Potato & Schezwan Chicken Dry Fry.. They taste really good.. it's a must try dish..

A place since 2012 and just recently they have improved their ambience and the menu looks so good. It’s a perfect place to try out the local cuisine of north east. Some things that you may love about this place is the 99 Rs combos which is pocket friendly and it’s a right combination of rice and meat and perfect thing for any student. The momos are also a must try and it’s very good out here. Another thing that you will love about this place is the seven states thali and it has a item dish from every north east state. It comes with veg chicken and pork / mutton items. A must try and a perfect thing for a two.

The Amazing Seven Sisters thali at morung is a must try. They serve two types of rice in this thali, the normal rice and also the sticky one which was wrapped in that banana leaf. You will get chicken, fish and pork along with other different veg items from the seven states of Northeast. There are chutneys and fries to compliment the meal. And there is a bowl of kheer to end this delicious meal. Each and every dish was well prepared and oozed out the authentic flavours. So when you visit @the_morung , don't forget to try out this beautiful thali. People who don't have pork can replace it with mutton.
