One of my favourite and a best place to visit for some South Indian cuisine. Ambiance here are simple, decent crowd, great service.
My favourites for breakfast here are Button idly, butter dosa, regular dosa and of course their filtered coffee. For lunch they have this South Indian thali and lot more.

The rate of experience and expectation from this restaurant is definitely worth a Thumbs up. It is one of the most finest restaurants in Hyderabad for all the Vegans. The food is tasty and just scrumptious.
Being opened for public for more the 30 years now, Minerva never left any stones unturned for its customers in maintaining it Taste, Quality, Service and Ambience.
I have had almost every item on their menu in the past 15 years and is an absolute delight to repeat the same dishes as well.
Minerva brings out to us all varieties of South Indian delicacies from Idly to that of Dosa, Pongal and Puri.
Breakfasts are a set to anyone who lives close by to this restaurant.
Channelling through this multi-cuisine aspect, Minerva pulled out those items tremendously as well. We see a variety of South Indian, North Indian, Biryani and Continental dishes in its menu serving with equal taste.
It’s Veg Manchurian, Veg Fried Rice, Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala are just so delicious.
It’s a Restaurant worth a visit, re-visit and future-visit. Thank you Minerva to exist for all the Vegetarian.
I ordered rava dosa from Minerva coffe shop a while back & was so happy with taste, texture or the dosa ! Many a times o find rava getting soft on asked for parcel but this wasn’t & sure can be tried many times.

One of the oldest and most popular places we suppose! When we tried the food here, we realized that this place is popular for a reason.
Their dosas and vadas are irresistible. Such nice preparation with such good quality is what we look for in a sophisticated place like this one. Being from North, their south Indian style of serving the sambhar, chutneys and aloo masala fascinated me a lot. I am really fond of their condiments. A must try place when in Hyderabad.
The Massive South Indian Thalli

The thalli consisting of - Poori, Rasam, Dal, Potato and peas curry, bhagara baigan, cabbage and potato dry curry, Yellow rice, Pickle, Appalam papad , Steamed rice, Curd, Karam podi and Metled Ghee
simple and light food visited so many times but never disappointed. my favorite items here are pongal, Thali and manchuria. best place but always crowded.
Minerva is famous for its south Indian cuisine.
Rava dosa was just perfect. It was crispy , crunchy and served with one small vati of potato masala.
Sada dosa came in a come shape. It was like regular dosa. Simple and good .
Idli was pipping hot and was served with kadampodi masala .
Podi masala is Minervas speciality. The best in hyderabad.
I also ordered fried rice to check the taste .. It tasted good but black pepper was added too generously. .
In all food experience at Minerva was good. Dosa n idli are super hit.
Stopped by for a quick tiffin in the late afternoon and must say the place lives up to its reputation. Some of the best coffee I've had in the city. The classic onion rava dosa was also as good as the reviews claim! Being a popular eatery though, it is almost always very crowded and there's considerable wait time to get a table, especially for large groups

The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The staff was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations.
This place has such a nice ambience. I was captivated by the warm invite. The staff was so good and knowledgeable to ensure a seamless dining experience. In conclusion, this coffee shop has an exceptional cuisine and a remarkable experience.
Ordered take out from here, definitely a good veg biryani! All curries were good too.
The place is vibrant, hustling and bustling no matter what the time. Good hangout place for people of all age groups. Lovely food and service as always. Guntur idly is a must try.

I have visited Hyderabad quite a few times but without fail I always had my first breakfast at this place & at this same outlet no matter what.
The place serves a variety of South Indian food & beverages & goes by the name Minerva Coffee House. They have been in business for more than 35 years & have since opened a number of branches around Hyderabad. I visited their Himayatnagar Branch.
I ordered -
- Ghee Karam Dosa
- Idly Vada
- Poori
- Filter Coffee
Ghee Karam Dosa is paper crisp masala dosa made in ghee & karam Podi which is a spicy dry chutney is put in dosa. It is served with Chutneys & Sambhar.
Idly Vada, freshly made a slightly bigger size idly for us & a Vada served with podi, chutneys & Sambhar.
Then came Poori which was served with Korma which is a mixed veg stew majorly consisting of potato & beans.
To finish it all off nothing better than their hot piping filter coffee was served.
Everything here was delicious. Flavour in dosa was a bit on the spicy side just how I like & is because of Karam podi but the richness of ghee surely balanced it. Idly was very soft & melted in the mouth, Vada was crispy outside & perfectly cooked inside. Their poori & Korma are just a perfect twist to our aloo poori version.
The service was very fast but we were quite early there when they had only a handful of customers & had just opened.
Total bill came to INR 557

I have been visiting this place since my childhood. The quality and tastes of the food is very good and remain the same. I love the ambiance of this restaurant, it feels very nostalgic from me personally.
A Sunday morning having guntur idly and coffee here. Vibes are great as the place is packed and they have enough staff to attend on time. Been going there since ages and never been disappointed.
Exceptional coffee is served with a warm smile. The charming ambiance makes it a delightful spot for both work and relaxation. The attentive staff adds a welcoming touch to the overall experience.
