One of the oldest restaurants in Kolkata...seems to me like a heritage one. Be it lunch or dinner, it has always been the topmost choice for me and my family...right from 1985. Entering here...you meet with an ambience of a Royal age...quite different from the present outer world. Food is sophisticated.. not over spicy.. juices, tutti-fruity small or big, are just excellent. If you haven't tried it yet, please do. you wont be disappointed. Well, prices are a bit higher than others... and on weekends, festivals you shall have to wait in a queue outside to get a table....but once you get it..

It was recommended to me from Patna. I was told that I must order veg Chailu Kebabs and the kebabs were really yummy. The restaurant was crowdy and people were really enjoying their food. Really worth it. Good job guys, keep it up. If there would have been an option for 7 stars, It would have been a pleasure. I hope this food station open in Patna very soon..
Peter cat is a brand. No doubt about that. Whatever they mix up, ends with a yummy plater. In frame chelo kebab and virgin mogito with chicken sausage garnished with some special sauce n wine.

The ambience of this place is great. A perfect place for an amazing dining experience. The dishes available here are good but the best dish and the most popular dish available here is the Chelo Kebab. Must def give it a try when visiting this restaurant.
They are famous for their CHELO KEBAB which is just mind blowing. With mouthwatering kebabs and butter herb rice. And choco brownie with ice cream is the other one and they also provide us a extra cup of hot chocolate with each plate of brownie.
I have visited this place with my family, its a good place to spend time with friends and family, the ambiance is cool and calm.
I visited there two time. Ambience is awasome waiter dress is unique. But there food quality is now little low.. I ordered kabab but the kabab was very dry.
Oh the visit was worth it. Food was not disappointing at all. It was good. Wanted to go for a long time and it was great. Highly recommend this place for a cosy family meal. The menu can be updated though, if not changed
The restuarant was maintaining the basic norms of social distancing and had a good setup with hygiene and sanitation amidst the pandemic. So, in that area, it's a thumbs up.
Staffs are very cooperative and we didnt have to wait much for the food to be served.

Its peter cat after all. Ambience, staff quality is excellent. Prices are high but food quality is very good. I ordered 1 chelo kabab, the all time bestseller dish in here and 1 chicken sizzler. Both were extremely good and apetizing. Very fond of this restaurant. A "must try once" according to me to all the customers.
Nice cozy ambience. Hit up the joint early so there wasn't much of a wait time, but the line was massive when we left. The food was really tasty. I can't see enough people recommending the Dum ki Rani, which is just perfect. Chelo Kebab was nice. Their mutton biryani was great. The mutton was cooked perfectly and the flavour was something on another level. The fish sizzler was okay. Really tasty and cooked correctly. Cocktails were alright. I cannot recommend their signature dessert item. The service was professional. Their pricing is justified.

I tried their Prawn cocktail, Sunset, Mutton Hamburger Steak Sizzler, and Chelo kabab. I would recommend their Mutton Hamburger Steak Sizzler and Chelo Kabab, both are must-try dishes, but the prawn cocktail was nothing special.
The original cello kabab is superb!! And the mixed tandoori sizzler is a must try. Great ambience feels like candle light dinner.
Lovely cozy ambiance m…delicious food… but a long que ..it was christmas day when we visted Peter Cat and the wait was of almost 45 minutes🥲 … over all lovery experience.. definitely recommended … do try chelo kabab there.

Cozy ambience. Staffs are extremely well behaved. though the place was too crowded. You have to wait atleast 1hr. Food was as per expectation. Overall highly recommended

The original chelo kebab was phenomenal. We love the mutton shikar kebab. The browniw vanilla ice cream hot chocolate desert was absolutely amazing.

Not much to say , the food was fabulous and special. Clearly understandable why it is one of the top rated places in Kolkata as well as India.
Tried the chicken marakesh meal and Veg chellow kebab. The panner was soft and worth trying. The brownie with hot chocolate and ice cream was the steal.

A fine dining restaurant with a great ambiance. It is a very old restaurant with nearly 50 years of heritage. There's nothing to say about food quality, it's just awesome. Service was very good and polite and friendly behavior from the staffs.
Sizzler and Chelo Kebab are the must try dishes in this restaurant.
