Beautiful ambience. Not a regular café. It is quite an unconventional place with a different kind of menu card. The desserts, specially the gokul pithe and malpoa are a must try. The mangsher chop, luchi mangsho and porota aloo chechki with tomato achaar are too good.
Excellent ambiance, coffee and sandwiches. Free WiFi to boot which means you can carry work as well. Definitely recommend this place!
One of the best places in town, serving authentic Bengali Cuisine.
Must try :
Koraishuti Kochuri with Aloor Dum.
Mangsher Chop.
Rum and Raisin Cake.
And do not miss their tea!
A plate of Koraishuti Kochuri is almost as good as a sumptuous lunch. Yes, the quantity is that good. The cake had a subtle essence of Rum, which made it all the more delish! Overall, this is an amazing place!

Byloom canteen located at Hindusthan Park has a very cosy ambience with colourful furniture,a large window that makes the place very comfortable.I tried out dab r popsicle which is really tasty and very cheap(highly recommended).I also tried nolen gurer custard,it was good too and affordable.
If you're looking to chill at a nice small cafe, but also want to eat some proper Bengali food - this is just the place for you.
Set in a cute little bungalow that has been turned into a cafe and byloom store, the vibe of the place is quintessentially Bengali. It is somehow a blend of both modern Calcutta as well as an era gone by. It's cosy, old school and rustic but at the same time done up really well with lots of vibrant colours, great decor and good lighting.
We went there a couple of evenings back when it was pouring like crazy. Thought we would get some coffee and chai which was just what the weather called for. But the menu there took me by complete surprise. While all other cafes in the city are busy spinning circles with avocados and quinoa and what have you, this place is serving up chops, cutlets and rolls - some of the most popular & authentic Calcutta street food dishes. I felt I just HAD to try out something.
We finally zeroed in on the koraishutir kochori and alu dum - little pillowy fried breads stuffed with peas and served with a Bengali style potato curry. It was simple, but absolutely spot on. The kochori in particular was outstanding - not too oily and perfectly filled with a stuffing of spiced peas. So damn good!!!! 🤤
It's easy on the pocket, the servers are quick and polite and the food is delicious. Heading back there very soon to try out their Mochar Chop and Chicken Cutlet. More on that soonly 😊
I Liked everything about this place.I tried COCONUT WATER WITH LIME N HONEY and surely going back for this again.MUTTON CHOP was also very good in both quality and quantity with generous filling of mutton keema.NOLEN GUR CUSTARD was also good in taste but I found custard a little bit hard, may be it was not freshly made but anyhow flavour was good n unique.Ambience is nice, staff is really friendly n polite, prices r inclusive of gst and I spent a good 3 hours alone which proves they never force the customers to leave in a hurry. Also the unique way of ringing the bell n calling the waiters was something I found very special.
Soothing ambience can definately please you specially if you are going on evening time. The staffs were really courteous and helpful. Coming to the food quality which is great and very affordable. My favourite is kanchenjunga iced tea. It's a boutique come restaurant. Overall its a nice place to chill out with friends and family.
Amazing place. Great mouth watering bengali food at a very affordable price. Not a big fan of bengali food but after eating here I sure am. Satisfied and a very happy customer.
Absolute love!
Ambiance: Since it's a 'byloom' canteen, the entrance begins with several display of clothes and goodies.
The main eatery is kept simple with light decor. It's super clean overall.
Food:
• Kalmanjari: It was a wonderful drink made from magoe and mint. Tasted superb, just that the chill was missing.
•Coconut water with lime and honey: Didn't have a coconut water drink as good as this one.
• Mangsher chop: Delicious! Minced mutton balls basically. The perfect balance if garlic gave it an authentic bengali flavor.
• Fish and chips: Bengali version of bhetki fry and alu bhaja. Fish was very fresh and the fries were crispy outside and tender inside.
Service: The staffs were very polite and friendly and helped us order proper portions for us too.
I can go there as many times as I can and would highly recommend this place.
A lovely place to hangout with friends. The food is also pretty good. You get the typical bengali snacks here. Nothing much to say about the ambience but found the service a bit slow.
Their darjeeling tea is very very good & the cookies that come with it.
I love the space good ambience nice environment decoration very nice near Hindustan Park variety of Bengali foods available this place variety of job and cutlets available I love lochi and chicken kosha esearch all experience too good💗💗💗💗💗
It is a boutique cum cafe near Hindustan Park. This café straight goes into the top 10 best cafés I have ever seen. Despite the place is not too big, the ambience is really really soothing and perfect for any type of hangout. We ordered Darjeeling Tea, Chicken cutlet and Chicken Sandwich there. The tea was great, food even better. This place is very pocket friendly as well and the staffs are very polite and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone who loves to explore café.
My review is for the store and not the cafe. Great collection of sarees. You can get sarees of all tastes and price ranges. Very aesthetically designed store as well. The staff are friendly and are eager to help. I would definitely visit Byloom again.
Great food and very nice behaviour of the staff !! Must go for Bengali food lovers .
Cute cafe with garment Studio
Loved the interiors , they have a limited but nice selection of garments for men and women
Namely shirts,h
Jackets, Kurta , sarees ,blouses and some bedsheets everything a
Has ethnic ,native weaves or techniques
There is a small canteen or cafe inside couldn't really try the food but looked good and was serving authentic Bengali fare
They do not have valet parking is on the other side of the street and is strictly enforced
A cute little place tucked in a by-lane. Simple menu , with freshly prepared food at decent price and portion size.. Closes a bit too early. Decor is simple with traditional Bangla feel.
Great cottons and a great cafe inside called CANTEEN. Nice simple ambience to sit calling the staff with hand bells.. Very good quality snacks.. and great tea. Main dishes should be nice though I did not try..
I have visited their canteen. The Canteen serves delicious bengali cuisine, snacks, tea, coffee etc. The atmosphere and the food make it a wonderful place to meet friends.
Pretty good collection of sarees except the conventional ones. Price range is also decent if not cheap.
For me the overall shopping experience was great along with the canteen food (luchi aloor dum)
(Clothing section) One improvement point would be to appoint more enthusiastic staffs as I found them a little bit apathetic!
Visited Byloom Canteen . Just like their amazing clothes the food tastes great as well. Enjoyed Mangsher Chop , Fish Roll and Chicken Cutlet along with some fresh sherbet and Nolen Gurer Souffle ! Ah and the beautiful interiors and ambience added to our adda ! ❤️
Cute place with amazing hand woven stuff for male and female . It's a multi store building with dedicated sections

Byloom is mainly a saree boutique. I usually go there to buy exclusive sarees and dress materials. But on the Google map, this place is mentioned as only a canteen! A canteen is a part of it, not the entire one.
