Few days before, I visited this place. The ambiance was really good. It was well decorated with different types of things. I loved the music ,they were playing. Staff were well behaved. They were well cooperated.They know very well,how to deal with the customer. Well, the taste of food was delicious. Specially the Kitkat shake. According to the price, they should increase the food quantity. It's a very nice place for photography. Decorum was well-maintained. One can go with his/her friends as well as family. Kit-kat shake is highly recommended. I must recommend this place to everyone.
To Cafe by the lane -Guys, I would definitely like to visit this place again.Kindly, increase the quantity of the food because this was a bit disappointment for me. But for now, this place is a THUMBS UP for me.
Really an amazing place. One of the most awesome Jaz theme cafe in the city of joy Kolkata. They have even opened one more branch in Patuli, which also pretty nice.
The price as compared to the food quality and quantity is pretty reasonable and affordable too. They even have live music in there place.

We ordered kitkat shake,jasmine tea and cheesy french fries to start with.Jasmine tea it was told a regular tea but was served with green tea...The staff there didnot have the knowledge much about the tea...the flavour was also missing in the tea...oreo shake amd cheesy french fries was good though!!next we ordered Fish fry,which was also good...their payment options were limited that posed a huge problem for us...otherwise its a good one!
Beautiful cafe love the ambience, definitely suggest to go with friends and family, service was good, staffs are polite, and they are maintaining their cleanliness and hygiene very carefully.

I went to cafe by the lane for the first time. The hostess was very helpful and polite. We started off with fresh lime soda and blue lagoon. Nothing to rave about these. They were the usual. Then we had wine batter fish (which came with a side helping of French fries) as the starter, Chicken Stroganoff which was served with garlic, butter and herb tossed rice, Grilled chicken (with mashed potatoes) for the main course and walnut brownie with ice cream for dessert. I liked each one of them. Everything was served fresh and piping hot. The brownie was really soft and freshly baked. It served as the perfect end to our meal with a generous dolop of Vanilla ice cream. Though the dishes seemed a bit overpriced, but no complaints against that as the quality of the food served quite made up for it. Also they a have great selection of tea which can be ordered by the pot or can be purchased for home brewing as well. They arrange for live music too and cherry on the top -> they have a grand piano which anyone can try out :)
Taste of food was upto the mark. And the Kitkat shake was just awesome. Lovely place. .

A small, well-decorated cafe located at Lake Terrace Road (Southern Avenue). The decor, theme everything is so good here. I was literally obsessed. Now coming to the food, we ordered

The garlic chicken fingers were crispy and delicious and absolutely worth the money. It was provided with french fries. The Mac and cheese was not that much cheesy as expected. The staffs were very polite and well-behaved. The price was quite reasonable. I really want to try more food items from them. Looking forward to visit it again.

It's a hidden gem in the arrayed alleys of Lake Terrace area. We went for a Sphagetti Alfredo and Cheese baked Ham followed by Fresh Lime Soda. Each good item is a meal in itself.
To get one's evening enlightened with soothing music and a good ambience cannot take place sans this cafe. It's a good place to hangout, lobbing apathy towards which has to be a regret.

Starting with the cafe is a exemplar of decorating small interior with great diligence! The food was really good, although it's a bit on the costly side. Although, the service of the staff is extremely good. Me and my friend visited at there and We had ordered 1 chicken salad and creamy Fish with butter rice . They were taking to serve a lit bit time otherwise they were nice and polite also. The tables were quite small, apart from the food it was really a great experience . We’ll visit there again.

Ambience is so romantic. Soothing music playing. Cute decoration. Great to spend evening with your loved ones. We tried their Belgian mocha frappe and crispy fried chicken sandwich. Both were awesome.
No planned visit, just went there because we are hungry. But after entered the place, I shocked to see how they manage to make such a picturesque place in that small place. The atmosphere... the Surroundings... just awesome, wherever you look you will want to click pictures. The theme of this Cafe is Music. Their food was nicely decorated and taste was very good. Though they took some time to serve but it's okay. The behaviour of chef is also nice, he even took feedback from us about the food. I strongly recommend this place. One of best and most romantic cafe to visit in South Kolkata. The cafe is situated at a 10min walk from Desapriya Park is a quite one with a beautiful decor and sitting arrangement. The bright colours of the cafe, lightings and plant decor outside highly attracts the new gen. Coming to food, we tried their shakes, coffees and fried chicken (8 pieces of chicken for 265rs around) is highly worthy in terms of quantity and taste. Further, the cafe is a great photogenic one and has some live music setups. Hence, its a highly recommendable cafe for cafe lovers.
We had visited this cafe on a Sunday afternoon and it turned out to be an enjoyable experience for both of us, who were meeting after almost 3 years. The staff was helpful and polite, the decor was very warm and cozy. We had ordered a ginger lemon honey tea, roasted hazelnut frappe, fish orly(consisted of 8 deliciously juicy fish pieces) and an olive and creamy chicken sandwich. I loved the tea especially which was served with a small pot of honey being a tea lover but apart from that, the food was awesome too. The service was great, we could chat wholeheartedly in a relaxed environment which was de-stressful for me.

We had sandwich, pasta, coffee, and a chicken dish. All were good as much as I remember. The ambiance was very cosy. They have nice decor and many small toys and items all over the place, which looks nice and also good for killing some time. When we visited, it also had some extra decor for football world cup and upcoming Christmas. They also have a nice, fully working piano that you can play 😃

As I heard from the staff, all the interior was done by the owner, who seems to be a music fanatic and a musician himself. His love for music can be felt through the decorations that have been put up.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The quantity and quality of the food equates to the price.
The drinks are also tasty. For me the highlight in the drinks was the Honey blended Americano.
