This is the best place who like all type Chinese food. Their dumplings,noodles and the tomato soup. Atmosphere and services are also very nice
Visited this place that is awesome . Their buffet are really good. They serve different types of chinese dishes which are really nice . The place is very calm and very refreshing good for family dining. And their food is just beyond everything really nice. One of our favorite place for dining. Highly recommended their buffet. And the price is also reasonable.

Few days ago we visited Mainland China the South city mall outlet to try the new 10 course meal. We tried the non veg 10 course meal

Out of all this dishes our favorite was chicken dumplings, Mandarin fish and chocolate rolls.
I'm this price all dishes were amazing and had a great experience. Service was also good. They also maintained all the hygiene safety. All over a great experience after a long time😍

Mainland China is synonymous with the Best Chinese food in Kolkata. Thats true even in this Covid times when people are scared to go out & eat. I visited this place for dinner and I can vouch that it is maintaining all safety measures. Perfectly safe!
We had the 10 course meal offer at ~650 which is an awesome deal in itself. The food was stunning as well with every item maintaining the brand name & taste. My fav. being the sui mai (~momos), I really enjoyed them & had a lot! Even all the other items in this spread like the starters, chicken side dish, fried rice are excellent as well.
I hope more people visit this place & dont get scared. Since buffets cant happen, this is the best option. And if you think of Buffet or large meals, Barbq nation has really fallen down in safety & other aspects, so Mainland China should be the place to be visited every time. Highly highly recommended if you are in South City & looking for an excuisite chinese dinner.
Yesterday I went there to celebrate my birthday. The staffs n the manager was so courteous. Their service standard and the quality of the food was actually beyond my expectations. The best restaurant I have ever visit. Even I m a hotelier so I know much better about the service standards n norms . However, it was so nice of them .. when they heard it's my birthday they got a complimentary cake n a welcome drink for all of us , which was really nice of them. Even the manager came to the table for wishing me on my birthday. Really a nice place. Would visit these place again n again. Thank you to team of MAINLAND CHINA , South City Mall.

Went there on a Friday to avail the course meal. This was my first visit to Mainland China so i was really excited. The ambience was really nice though only one section of the restaurant was open for dine in due to the pandemic.
First I want to clearly mention the two reasons for giving a 4 star and not 5.
*In the set menu it was clearly written Chinese Greens is the common item for both Veg ang Non Veg but it was not served to us whereas in Ballygunge outlet few of my friends went and had this menu, they were served with this dish.
*The Chicken in the main course I don't know why but had a light smell deep inside, one of my friend also told the same after biting it, i think it was not fresh.
Rather than these two, everything were perfect, they welcomed us warmly, there was a temperature check at the entry then cleaned our hands with sanitizer, the staffs' faces were properly covered and were wearing gloves, due to social distancing they couldn't serve the food but it's absolutely correct. They were polite and repeated whatever dish we wanted.
I mostly loved the starters and the desserts, they were amazing. The dumplings, the soup, the assorted chicken starter, all were excellent so we repeated the dumplings and the chicken starter.
The main course was not so interesting, though one dish was missing still the chicken side dish could have been better, the fish dish was yummy and it suits well with the noodles and fried rice.
The desserts were mind blowing, it consisted of the Brownie infused choco rolls,it was served hot😍, vanilla ice cream and darshaan.
Total was 645 + gst for each person.
Had a great experience, hope to visit again😊

Tried the buffet of Mainland China. Has 20+ items. This place serves one of the best indo-chinese food in kolkata. The buffet is quite good but not excellent. Some dishes could be better with thinner batter coatings. Dessert and starter sections are very good but main course has room for improvement especially considering the price of the buffet. Buffet is priced at ₹1045/- + tax. Would like to see some variety in main course dishes.
Situated in the South City Mall. We were 9 people. The ambience was nice. We took a weekday buffet. The cost was Rs.1075+GST. Service was good, Food was nice. The items should be revised. The taste was good, all the items were almost non spicy. But according to the food, the price was too high. We can get a good buffet in the lower price range also. Mainly China's standard dropped a bit. But for any family outing, get together, you can surely visit them.

Excellent ambience and quality service....Crab and prawn in the buffet menu are a must try. For dessert, go for Darsaan if you happen to have a sweet tooth.
We went there long time back. All thou I can remember that experience was great. Food quality and quantity is good. Ambience is 10 out of 10. Management was excellent. Most recommended place for Chinese Cuisine Lovers.
If it's Chinese then it's Mainland China! We had an awesome experience in Mainland China as we went for lunch buffet @Rs 1045 per head. I gave a treat to my parents from my internship stipend and also celebrated my mother's birthday in the restaurant, as they offer birthday cakes on informing the staffs from Dariole. It was my 5th time here!
Overall a nice experience with the most delicious Chinese dishes cooked!
Mainland China is one of my favourite for Sino Chinese food, fresh Bhetki & gravy vegetable chowmin is top in white sauce. Bar menu is quite exotic.

Decided to celebrate my birthday here, so we went in for lunch.
every dish tasted absolutely amazing, no complaints there.
The taste is worth the price.
I'd suggest going in a little early because it's always crowded.
We went on a Saturday afternoon and there were no tables empty.
We opted for the a la carte but they have a buffet going on always and that is pretty good too.
Since it was my birthday they also offered a complimentary cake and that was quite good as well.
All over a very good experience, would definitely recommend.
Mainland China never disappoints in any city. The best restaurant to go for Chinese cuisine served with warm hospitality.
Tried their non-veg lunch buffet, the menu had soup, salads, 5 starters, 5 maincourse and desserts. Except for the desserts, all other items were served on the table which was very convenient. Loved the clear soup, honey mustard fish starter, chicken suimui, stir fried veggies. The brownies, custard and darsan for desserts were great. The service and ambiance were great.
Overall the experience was worth the money.
Dine in yesterday...food quality 👌 service good.. hospitality excellent...as for their suggestion tried out new dish..turned out delicious 😋...KOREAN SWEET POTATO NOODLES...it's not on their menu but about to add ....mixed with chicken and egg...must try dish...
