I have been to this place couple of times for having snacks and poricha icecream. When I felt like having biriyani for lunch rushed to south side of kozhikode beach. I couldn't find a free space to dine in. So I had a thought of visiting here. Alibhais thattkada is famous for sea food one of the staffs conveyed. He also welcomed to hang out there at night with friends as they have arranged a new space in the upstairs to feel the night vibe along with beach view 😬 Well I ordered chicken biriyani as it was the only biriyani available at that time. I was a little late for lunch hence the food wasn't much warm. Unlike other dum biriyani the biriyani they serve got less masala and chicken was really soft and tender. The quantity was enough for me. The biriyani rice was a bit fat than the other biriyanies I had so far. Pickle and Salna was served along with. The smoked hot water kept for drinking brought nostalgia to me. One of the famous dish I ordered was the Fried Icecream aka Poricha icecream. The crispy coating filled with cashews and raisins and the melting chocolate icecream wen cut into half. There would be a chocolate syrup drizzled over it but they apologized for the non availability on the same. Still it was yum 😋 with slightly burned coating. They charged Rs.80/- for it. The traditionally maintained building with paintings of sea living creatures enhanced the peaceful ambience.

Delicious food, nice place to visit with friends and family. Enjoyed a lot.
