This is my go-to place for chilling in Pondi. After travelling and exploring the city and outskirts, I like to go back here have my beer and yummy bar food and chill till they close.
It's a great Cafe with super sweet staff. :) They are quite friendly and are doing a wonderful job!
We had pastas, red wine, and a cocktail.
Their pasta reflect Italian taste and the simplicity of the cuisine.

The ambience at The Past Bar Veneto is nothing short of amazing. It's located right next to a quiet street that is brimming with a variety of tourists from all across the world. The restaurant has a large glass picture window that looks onto the street, complemented by music that closely resembles the top numbers on the Billboard charts. The food itself is quite bespoke for the ambience as described above. We ordered chicken soup, French fries, Barbeque chicken pizza and chocolate brownie with ice cream. Each one of those items was delectable and mouth watering. The chicken soup (zuppa di pollo) was thick, viscous and replete with chunks of grilled chicken. The thin crust pizza was crisp with fresh vegetables, chicken and vegetables. The French fries were crisp as well, served with a two varieties of tangy sauces. The Black Currant cooler was extremely refreshing. We were served by a gentleman named Sabarish Ranjan. He took great care of us, and ensured that we were provided with everything we required over the course of our meal at this place. It's a remarkable place, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone travelling to Pondicherry.
As a solo Traveller I depended majorly on the Zomato ratings when I made my decision to visit this place! It was truly a good decision. The staff is so courteous and sweet. They understand what you want and suggest things accordingly. I don't remember the names of the dishes I called for but I've attached the pictures. It was a pleasant experience!
Also I'd like to add, Pooja was one of the people's serving me and she was such a sweet person. She not only was very prompt and helpful while I was dining but she also helped me by providing me a book that consists of various important information about Pondicherry. I really liked her!

Best place to visit near whitetown. Very close to Rock beach, too good ambience, amazing food and cocktails. Must visit at least once while at pondi
Visited this cozy awesome place in lunch time. Had a chilled beer and saucy spicy chicken pizza, spicy buffalo chicken wings and must try broccoli white sauce.
Loved the experience here. We had white sauce pasta which was very light and not too heavy or sticky. The pizzas crust was good and the flavours were well infused.
Calamari fritters were good too.
Tuna sandwich had an amazing aroma and it was yummy too.
Last but not least, the best cold coffee I had in a while is here.
We visited this place for dinner. Over all experience was good. We had to wait to our table.
You get only minimal to low spiced dishes here. We ordered Pasta, It was good but French fries were not crispy.

This was definitely a 5/5 experience. Ambience, service, food everything was top notch. The food was just too good 👌👌. The chicken pasta and the lasagna were the best of the lot 💯. Will be putting up pictures of different dishes which are a must try 💯.
Lovely ambience. Loved the food. The pizza and pasta are a must try. Pizza was freshly baked and had a nice crust. Lasagna was very tasty. We loved everything on the menu. The pasta quantity was a little disappointing but we were also 6 people haha.
This was a pleasant surprise. We ordered pizza and loved how flavourful it was. We went the next day and packed a sandwich and burger which were also equally good. The ambience is okay, but I can vouch for the quality of the food made here.
The food served was absolutely a delight to the palate, i would recommend to visit this place on a weekday. The evenings are generally crowded. If you are a R&B genre fan, you would love the ambience and the music they play.
After entering the restaurant, it felt like I came into an old building. But the ambience is very nice once you settle down. The place is nice and cozy with soothing music. Hosts are polite and courteous. They will take extra care of you. Nice place to hangout.

The pizza taste was nice, but the crust was like biscuits.
But the food we ordered was extraordinary taste, highly recommended.
Chic cafe with polite staff and mind-blowing desserts! Tried their Banana Rum one and it raised the bar 10/10. Portion size is good too. Would recommend. 👍🏻
