Sagar Ratna has always been a perfect place for South Indian food lovers . Decent ambience and good food and very reasonable rates.
It is best for South Indian food lovers...l always go Sager ratna if I wanted to eat South Indian food...not on this city...but when I was out also I search Sager ratna for South Indian food because no one bit it's taste,it's quality.....it is all time my Fev ....my Fev is its masala dosa...it's yummy....u can also try it's idli....rava dosa, coffee and puri sabji.....all item will come delicious flavour....

Sagar Ratna is a famous restaurant chain all around North India famous for its South Indian cuisine. The restaurant maintains its quality in terms of cleanliness and taste. It is well decorated and colourfully lit 💡💡💡 with proper seating arrangements and reserved tables. The staff has a proper dress code and are trained professionals. The crowd is less and mostly filled with sophisticated people including a corporate table and two family tables. The menu had a variety of South Indian and a number of North Indian dishes as well. I ordered idli vada combo which allows you to order 3 pieces of idli or vada in Rs. 140. The taste was good and was served with sambhar and 2 types of chutney. The sambhar chutney taste just fine here since I have had better sambhar and chutney at many places that I have been to.
Sagar Ratna was always in my bucketlist. This place is perfect for south Indian food, beautiful ambience with lovely decor. I love this place, this is the finest south Indian restaurant in Varanasi. Now coming on food they serve us-:

All the dishes were good but they need some improvement like in Chinese, Rava keshari, Rasam. Truly work on presentation. Else all were good I will truly recommend u all to try their Dahi items which is Dahi vada and dahi idli. Taste were good staff were cooperative n humble.. Service were good. So I will highly recommend you all to visit this place specially for south Indian food lover.

Sagar Ratna as known for there south indian cusine and huge family dosa. Comfortable sitting setup and relaxed ambience is the most likeable quality of this unit. Food was surely amazing to by there taste. Raitas,Dahi vadas ,differ types of dosa and some chinese items like corn salt and pepper were really appetizing. Although i like the concept of family dosa. I completly love this place and going to come again with family.😋😋
Tried the North Indian food here and it was fresh and tasty. The dishes taste just as the homelike food. The ambience is really good, gives a cozy yet open space. I loved the naan, no extra puffiness, just plain and authentic. The only complaint I've is that there is no toppings available for the ice-cream, not even chocolate syrups. I hope they add it soon.
Good food, ambience and service. The staff is courteous. South Indian food is recommended. North Indian also tastes good. Overall a nice place to beat the heat while enjoying good food.
My husband and I absolutely love Sagar Ratna! Every time we’ve gone (or ordered takeout) we have had respectful and prompt service and always delicious food. Our favorites are the Idli Chaat and Thali Deluxe. We’ve also had spring rolls and dosa and are very excited to try more of the menu.
For an early lunch we split a Thali Deluxe and it has been enough food to hold us over until dinner. If we come for dinner then we each order a Thali Deluxe, or one Thali Deluxe and a smaller dish, like spring rolls.
The Idli Chaat is to die for! I could eat it everyday. A must get!

Ambience was good and slow music was their to lighten up mood, there was a 4feet dosa was good in taste and deluxe Thali option was top selling product here, worth trying.
Sagar Ratna is famous for its South Indian cuisines. And I have been to many Sagar Ratna’s in the past at different places. So I tried it here & I have to say food tasted good specially the deluxe thali. The restaurant is clean and perfect for vegetarians. Overall it was a good experience. Do check out this place!!

With the beautiful ambience and tasty meals this place is so good that even they make you eat nd fall in love with such dishes which you might not like personally. In my case it was palak but then i tried corn palak ki sabzi here nd i became a fan!
