During Durga puja, one day we are meant to have veg food, mainly on sasthi.. so we thought of trying some veg dishes and what's better than to have dosas. We tried normal masala dosas nd cheese masala dosa. The masala dosa was good but somehow the cheese masala dosa could have been better. One complain is that with three dosas the amount of sambhar nd chutney supplied were too less. They should look into this matter.
This is our regular venture. Love their vadas. The manager is a very polite person, as a re the other staff. Met the owner the other day. He is a very mild and polite person. It is economic abd parking is available. In fact, you can place order, have food and pay bills sitting in the car. So very comfy.
excellent guys punctual and dedicated to his work
This cafe cum South Indian restaurant is located at Keyatala Road in close proximity to the Vivekananda Park. It is a modest neat and tidy place which can house around 10 people. It serves South Indian delicacies and food quality is decent. We dropped in here a couple of days back on Panchami afternoon after not being able to manage a place in any of the nearby restaurants. The place is properly maintained and the staff were also very polite. Overall a nice place serving South Indian dishes at reasonable prices.
It’s a delight to visit this place! ✌🏻
My favourite outlet for South Indian food.
They gained popularity because of the quick service in the car as well as at the outlet by their warm and friendly staff.
The owner also takes the effort to personally meet the client needs which is indeed a beautiful gesture.
I’m so confused when I enter this place! As I don’t know what to order and what not to.
Favourites are :-
• Two in one Idly
• Floating Idly
• Topy Dosa
• Mushroom Cheese pizza
•Dahi Vada
• Hot/Cold Coffee
These wonderful fusions are a part of Garden Cafe’s DNA.
What stands out immediately here is the menu variety offered, with standout options for idlis, dosa and vadas. The food is yum, innovative and authentic. The chutneys and sambar are true to the south Indian taste and enhance the eating experience. Would also recommend the filter coffee and pizzas, which are a must must try. Do visit the outlet, for exceptional service, mouth-watering, authentic south Indian food at reasonable pricing.
Great place to have south Indian food with friends and family. The uttapam and idli is really nice. Must try their hot coffee. Cheese paper dosa is also nice!
I ordered two butter masala dosas and two idlis....They were fresh, light yet tasty...easy to digest healthy south indian joint...am definitely ordering more from here!
good as per discounted price.
BEST SOUTH INDIAN FOOD IN KOLKATA!
Brought a Tamilian friend along who was apprehensive at first but then went ahead to order 2 rounds of coffees and Dosa's. Everything was impeccably done and the staff was lovely. 10/10 recommend if you are in the area and looking to grab a bite :)))
Dosa was good but the sambar, chutney and sada vada was not upto the mark. Was a little disappointed. Otherwise ambience and service was good as always. The next time we visited food was excellent. My plain cheese Dosa was v good along with idlis and mixed uttapam. Very satisfactory lunch.
The food served has really improved which we made out on our next visit to the cafe. The place has been done up and is looking good. AC is very effective. The cheese garlic Dosa was to die for along with the mixed uttapam. Very satisfying lunch👍
I loved the hot mocha here and in car service is pretty good and fast. You basically I don't have to get down of my car to order food, I can order and eat it inside my car. The veg pizza is best here, with green sauce. I visit here often for hot mocha and pizza ✔️✔️
If you want to sit inside and have your food there it also fine, the sitting arrangements are pretty decent.
Do try sambar Vada. Always best.
Good quality south Indian dishes....keep it up....more customers will come
Fresh & hygienic... Staff's behaviour is good, AC's are chilled... Good to have south indian veg snacks...
I see they have high demand for South Indian dishes. People enjoy their foods. They make long Dhosa wich is their speciality. And nice place to enjoy your dinning peacefully.
Food is good but ambience is not up tot he mark
Little n cozy... same awesome taste since 20+ years for me atleast.
I still drop in here sometime for quick bites.
Known for its quick service and South Indian food. Seating and ambience is basic. Price for two person meal would be under ₹500
